A non-profit charity organized around one goal: to help men get jobs and keep jobs. We provide carer counseling, interview coaching, business clothing, and follow-up job support to men actively seeking employment.
Career Gear, a grassroots 501 ( c ) (3) non-profit organization, was founded in New York City in 1998 to promote the gainful employment and self-sufficiency of disadvantaged men who are actively seeking employment.
We started out with the simple goal of providing appropriate business clothing for job seekers and have grown to provide services and resources that help our clients in retaining employment and advancing in the workplace. Services include: 1) provision of interview clothing; 2) job retention and advancement skills; and 3) linkages to other resources and community based agencies.
Garden of Dreams is a 501c3 non-profit charity that works closely with all areas of Madison Square Garden, including the New York Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, MSG Media, MSG Entertainment and Fuse “to make dreams come true for kids in crisis”. In the two years since its inception, Garden of Dreams has worked tirelessly to fulfill its mission by creating unique and unforgettable events and activities -often involving unprecedented access to Madison Square Garden celebrities, events and venues -that have brightened the lives of thousands and thousands of special children and their families.
Since its inception in 2006, the Foundation has created once in a lifetime experiences at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the MSG Training Center, Fuse and the Beacon Theater for more than 134,000 tri-state area children in crisis. Over 99,000 tickets have been donated to organizations served by Garden of Dreams and more than 950 special events have been designed for over 18,000 children and families.
